A Carbon Reduction Plan (CRP) simply measures an organisation\u2019s emissions\/carbon usage over a 12-month period and outlines commitments to reduce those emissions over the short, medium, and long term.<\/p>


The plan consists of two key parts:<\/strong><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    The UK government aims to reach net zero emissions by 2050. To help achieve this, businesses, public sector organisations, and industries must reduce their carbon emissions and offset any remaining impact, such as through tree planting or supporting carbon capture projects.
    To support this goal, organisations need to operate more sustainably, use energy more efficiently, and invest in greener technologies.
    At a minimum, public sector suppliers are now being called upon to create and maintain a publicly available Carbon Reduction Plan, which should be reviewed and updated every year to reflect any changes in their carbon footprint.
    Many organisations are also adopting sustainable practices to reduce their environmental impact and show their commitment to the environment.
